In everything we do, the Pacific Partnership aims to foster a prosperous future for Old Town Pacific, and to advance Old Town as a social, cultural, educational, and economic center within the Pacific community. With this goal in mind, one of the programs we started last year was the the Flower Pot Program!

What started out as the purchase of five flower pots, has since turned into a promising way to add color & beauty to the streets of Pacific!

It began with our annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. We used the 2021 profit to kickstart the program. Along with the parade's profit, the Pacific Tourism Commission graciously contributed to the program. Unfortunately, their 2022 budget was too tight to contribute again. With the hopes of not letting this promising project die, we turned to our amazing community! And it was not surprising, in the least, how our local business owners came together & supported us!

We want to recognize the local & surrounding area businesses that stepped up and helped continue the program in 2022.

Joe at The Wishing Well in St. Clair, he gave us a great deal on his concrete planters!

Mike at Rock Solid donated the rock & soil used to fill the planters.

Harry at Engelhart Farms provided discounted flowers for the pots.

And Pat at First State Community Bank spearheaded this year's program, and planted the flowers!

This has truly been a community effort. 11+ Downtown businesses contributed toward the flower pots, and businesses near those watered the flowers. Their watering of the flowers is an integral component of this program working, and their commitment does not go unnoticed.

We walked into 2022 with the goal of adding three more pots, yet we were able to fund six additional pots! The total now is 11 pots that line St. Louis and First Street!

The community we have here in Pacific is really like no other, and we truly appreciate all the effort put into any project we throw your way! The support is not taken for granted, and we know we simply can't do it without all of you!
